late night musings
"17"Waking at 7 on to brekky and a wash
walk to school, weave through cars
a quiet side street, another barking dog
life's passing me by and way too fast
School at 9, meet up with
a queer, and old mate and a crazy one
life's stories, the weekend past
10 minutes at a time
class first off
i'm late off the ball
start paying attention
when she'd gone off the wall
lunch to trade stories
you sit through impotent soliloquies
an interesting morsel
torn to bits by the gossip carrion
working sporadically
not paying attention and knowledge passes nigh
waiting for the sound of momentary freedom
they leave without me, passing me by
3 marks the unspoken end
dont try teaching now
hindered goodbye
a tired hug
through a once-busy place
echoes of people, a deserted surface
a lonely walk home
she gives me hope, a deeper purpose
it's life while at school and
im just a nonchalant observer
gimme a fucking break
its hard being the man
and hating him at the same time
